Clients Comment About Their Sessions

"Reiki is a special experience, one I've never had before now.  I am not someone who is usually
comfortable with hands-on, physical contact from any outside sources.  Randi is truly wonderful in
communication a safe and relaxing environment while creating a healing current of energy!!!  It is
amazing! Oh, I forgot to tell you the most important thing . . . for the first time since I've been going
to physical therapy, my physical therapist said the swelling in my ankle has improved drastically!!
And now I only have about 4 weeks left of physical therapy instead of 10!  Thank you so much
Randi."

"My nine year old daughter Rebecca is an avid ice-skater.  In addition to solo skating, she is part of a competitive
synchronized skating team.  While working through their program, the skaters move through various holds and
formations.  Oftentimes she is pulled or is pulling another skater as they perfect their moves.  Needless to say,
aches, pains, bangs and bruises are all part of a skater's life.  Although she sees a chiropractor regularly, she was
experiencing a terrible nagging in her neck after a particularly bad fall in which she was dragged across the ice!  I
asked Randi if she thought Reiki could help.  Randi had Rebecca sit in a chair and told her to try to relax.  It only
took Randi seconds to realize that Rebecca is not the type of child who relaxes easily.  After having Rebecca
change positions in the chair, Randi spoke comforting words to Rebecca as she placed her hands on Rebecca's back
and neck.  A few moments later she asked Rebecca if the spot she was touching was the source of her pain . . . and
indeed it was!  Still speaking softly to her, Randi continued with her hands on Rebecca's neck and upper back.  This
went on for about 15 minutes.  When Rebecca got up from the chair, she immediately spun her neck around and
announced, "It doesn't hurt anymore!"  That night she slept great! Thank you Randi, I slept great too, knowing that
Rebecca was "pain free"!"

" . . . I had reached across the big round banquet at the teacher's holiday dinner and called out, "Ow! Ow! Ow!", as
I reached for the platter of cookies.  When I reached across the table a secound time, to return the platter to its
original location, I repeated the expletive.  One of the teachers said, "you don't learn, do you?"  I explained that I
was still feeling pain from an injury I had sustained weeks prior and I was very right-handed so it was very hard
to remember to use my left arm even if it resulted in more pain.  Randi said "Let me try something."  She walked
around behind me, rubbing her hands together as she walked.  She placed her hands on my arm.  After a while she
said that this wasn't the correct spot, so she moved her hands to another location.  This was repeated 3 or 4
times.  One of the other teachers asked how she would know when she reached the right spot (the source of pain).
She said she would 'feel' it.  All the while the areas which were being touched were growing quite warm.  Finally,
Randi said she had found the right spot.  It felt not different to me.  After awhile, right in the midst of the
warmth I felt a bolt of heat that was about as wide as my ring finger and had a burning vibration to it.  It was not
at all unpleasant.  After that, my pain was gone.  I had full movement of my arm.  Thank you Randi."

"Teaching many yoga classes a day can prove itself to be anything but a relaxing proposition -
sometimes it is down right strenuous.  It doesn't happen often, but when I do stretch myself into a
pretzel, I need help and I've found rescue in Randi's hands on a few occasions.  Reiki is an amazing
healing technique and I am a big believer.  Being a student of yoga, I learned a lot about ancient
healing techniques and had always thought that I'd like to try Reiki when I needed it.  Randi has helped
bring energy to sore muscles in my body that would ordinarily take days to heal on their own.  She's a
wonderful healer and I am glad to have her close by for those times I'm not feeling yogic."

"Physically I have to deal with daily back and limb extremity pain, and numbness due to severe
Congenital Spinal Stenosis.  I have had to undergo two neurosurgies to maintain mobility.  Despite
some degree of limitation, I am committed to remain an active person.  I work out regularly, ski, ride
my motorcycle and want to maintain as normal an existence as possible.  But the pain caused by the
stenosis is a constant daily reminder of a chronic condition with no real cure.

"Two things were needed: consistent physical therapy with strengthening and pain management.  I
spent two years strengthening my core with Pilates-based physical therapy which was very
beneficial.  Regarding pain management, I decided to move beyond relying on pain relievers like
Motrin to more active and natural approaches to pain management.
"My wife had purchased a Reiki session for me for my birthday.  I had never experienced Reiki before
and was not sure what to expect but thought it would be worth a try.  From the very first session I
was amazed at what I experienced.  Almost instantly I experienced an unusual feeling of healing
warmth that was pleasant and very focused, for example; going from my shoulders straight down to
the end of my spine.  Or going from my navel straight through my core to my back, actually heating
up the table I was lying on.  Other feelings such as whole body rushes, feelings of releasing and
balancing or "rightness" were felt.  Randi is a great practitioner and has an uncanny way of not only
directing this deeply felt energy but knowing where it is most needed.  I was surprised that Randi
seemed to know of areas where I was currently experiencing issues or had experienced damage in
the past, many times without even telling her.
"Overall, I have felt extremely relaxed from the sessions I have had, with improved deeper sleep
and a heightened connection with my environment and myself.  My days have actually improved with
an elevated energy level.  I would highly recommend trying Reiki as part of an overall holistic
approach to better living, including regular physical activity and healthy eating."
